Hi, I’m Kristin Pitts Altman, founder of Limelight Acting Studio and an on-set coach for some of the biggest family-friendly films and TV shows in the business. I started as a child actress, went through the highs and lows of the industry, and built this studio to be the place I wish I had when I was starting out.

With the addition of Tania to the Limelight Family, we're excited to announce we've created a brand new ongoing Voiceover Group Class which will be led by her.

Tania started her career on the Disney Channel in TV series and movies, including Pixel Perfect, Go Figure, Imagination Movers and Aaron Stone (her first series regular role). From there, Tania landed numerous guest starring, recurring, and series regular roles, including Transformers Prime (HASBRO), Penn Zero (Disney XD), AP BIO (NBC), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX), Wiener Park (WB), The Magic of Ordinary Days (Hallmark Hall of Fame), Enlisted (FOX), Bizaardvark (Disney), Graves (Epix) and feature films such as Bob Funk, Possession, Such Good People and Snow Bride.

Tania can also be heard as a variety of character voices on animated shows and feature films such as Trese (Netflix), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Jetsons, Zambezia, Scooby Doo, DC Super Hero Girls and Shimmer & Shine (Nickelodeon).

For those gamers out there, you may have seen her as the lead character Ajna in the video game "Indivisible" and other games like League of Legends and World of Final Fantasy.

 

While Tania brings some serious on camera acting chops to the table, her work as a voiceover artist is even more impressive! Together, we have developed an exciting new Voiceover program, which Tania will lead.

Over a decade ago, Chenae embarked on her acting journey, and her career took a leap forward upon her move to California. Her natural talent was evident when she aced her first commercial audition for Texas Health and since then, she has successfully represented brands such as Walmart, Tillamook, Fujifilm, Uno by Mattel, T-Mobile, Travis Credit Union, KOS, and Empower Card.

Beyond commercials, Chenae has graced print campaigns for Tax Slayer and One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. Her foray into voiceovers began with a bang, voicing three distinct characters in the web series "Tech Heist." Her versatility shone through with a co-hosting role for Dangerous Goods Awareness and subsequently, as the engaging host of Ask Firefox, where she mastered the teleprompter and made even the most complex material accessible and lively.

Chenae’s film presence is equally compelling, with several credits to her name, including a challenging dual role in the upcoming short film "Penance," where her dramatic range is on full display.

Her comedic talent is undeniable, with a knack for bringing a unique, quirky spark to her performances, ensuring she leaves a lasting impression in auditions and beyond.

With over ten years of dedicated training in on-camera techniques, audition strategies, commercial acting, voiceover, and improv, Chenae is an invaluable addition to the Limelight Acting Studio coaching team. She’s not just a mentor for commercial success and audition artistry but also a navigator through the intricate business aspects of acting.

DAVID BARRERA

ACTING COACH

David Barrera is an award-winning veteran film and television actor with over one hundred Film and TV credits including Castle, Dirty John, The Big Bang Theory, CSI: Miami, The Closer, N.C.I.S., Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, Heroes, The West Wing, NYPD: Blue and 24 for which he received an ALMA Award nomination.

 

Most recently, David has been seen in recurring roles on critically acclaimed shows like Bosch, What/If with Renée Zellweger, Hulu's Chance opposite Hugh Laurie, HBO's Emmy Nominated Generation Kill and Netflix record breaking Monster: The Jefferey Dahmer Story.

Will Doughty has been working, teaching and coaching in the entertainment industry for the past 20 years. After receiving his degree from ISU in Theatre, Will devoted his career to improvisation. His unique approach to coaching actors into their best performance is rooted in using the fundamental principles of improvisation to teach commercial, film and television audition technique, sketch writing and video production.  Will teaches actors how to hone their skills of listening, imagination work and genuine sense of play— unleashing their confidence and bringing their authentic selves to every role.

Will’s career began in Minneapolis, where he performed both sketch and improvisation for weekly audiences at Comedy Sportz and Dudley Riggs. He then moved to Los Angeles,  and continued to study and perform at powerhouse Improv theatres IO West, Second City and UCBLA. Will has also coached and taught improvisation at multiple professional acting studios across LA, and held a core faculty member position at Theatre of Arts in Hollywood for several years.  You have seen Will in dozens of national commercials (Best Buy, Fidelity, Centrum Vitamins, IHOP to name a few) as well as in hit shows on NBC, Comedy Central and Showtime.  He is thrilled to bring his wide range of experience and guidance to Limelight Acting Studio in Temecula.

LIMELIGHT MASCOTS/PUP STARS

Meet Dottie and Hugo... our resident mascots and part-time acting coaches here at Limelight Acting Studio! These two former pup-stars have traded their days on the silver screen for a life of drama coaching, and boy, do they take their roles seriously!

When they're not busy sniffing out talent, they're helping students master their lines - and let's be honest, a bark of approval from Dottie is worth more than a standing ovation at the Oscars. Hugo, on the other hand, is the ultimate camera whisperer.
