TV COMMERCIAL ACTING FOR ADULTS
Group Class - 8 Week Intensive
Eligibility: This course is exclusively designed for Adults 18+
Course Overview:
This 8-week, high-energy on-camera class is designed to help actors build the skills needed to book TV and commercial work.
Students will learn how to deliver natural, conversational performances while working with real commercial copy. A strong focus is placed on improvisation, helping actors stay present, think on their feet, and respond authentically, exactly what casting directors are looking for.
Actors will also learn how to quickly break down commercial scripts, make strong, confident choices, and adjust their performance based on direction. From slating to callbacks, students will gain a clear understanding of the full audition process and what it takes to stand out in a competitive market.
Each class includes hands-on coaching, mock auditions, and on-camera playback so students can track their progress and refine their performances week by week.
By the end of the program, actors will feel confident walking into auditions, delivering strong self-tapes, and bringing their personality and instincts to every role.
Taught by industry coach Will Doughty, a seasoned television actor and audition specialist, this class is led by a mentor who understands the realities of today’s casting landscape. Will brings real world insight, direct industry experience, and a sharp eye for what books.

SCENE TO SCREEN
TEEN TV SCENE BUILDING INTENSIVE
Group Class - 8 Week Intensive
Eligibility: This course is exclusively designed for Teens ages 12-18
Course Overview:
Scene to Screen is an eight week teen group class designed to help actors confidently break down, build, and perform TV audition scenes for today’s streaming driven industry.
In this course, students will work with scenes inspired by current pilot and episodic style shows found on Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney+, and Hulu.
Actors will learn how to break down scenes, understand story and character, and create a clear emotional through line that supports strong, believable choices. Emphasis is placed on modern on camera acting and self tape technique so students feel prepared for real world auditions.
At the end of the eight week class, students will professionally shoot their own scene, giving them a polished piece they can use for their acting reel, as well as agent and casting submissions.
This class is ideal for teens who want to sharpen their TV acting skills, build confidence on camera, and walk away with tangible material that supports their career growth.
Taught by industry coach Will Doughty, this class helps teen actors develop the skills needed for today’s TV and streaming auditions. Will guides students through scene breakdown, on camera performance, and self tape technique, preparing them to approach pilot and episodic auditions with confidence.

A television pilot is the very first episode or test flight of a new show. It launches the concept, builds the world, introduces the characters, and serves as the blueprint that determines whether the series will move forward. Because pilots set everything in motion, the audition process feels different from episodic television. Episodic roles live inside an established style and tone. Pilots give you the chance to help create it. Your choices carry more influence, and your ability to shape a character becomes even more important.
PILOT SEASON READY: ON-CAMERA
ACTING FOR ADULTS
Group Class - 8 Week Intensive
Eligibility: This course is exclusively designed for adults 18+.
Course Overview:
Pilot season is one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year for actors, and this eight week class is designed to help your on camera work rise to the occasion. While we are obviously not teaching anyone how to fly a plane, we can definitely help your acting career take flight! Limelight Acting Studio provides you with all of the tools and training you need to stand out when pilot auditions start rolling in.
Across eight weeks, you will strengthen every essential on camera skill for pilot season. You will sharpen your self tape technique, learn how to make compelling and grounded choices, and work with script material written specifically for pilots. You will run scenes, go through mock auditions and call backs, and practice delivering the kind of performances that get attention for co star, guest star, and possible recurring roles.
By the end, you will walk into any pilot season audition with confidence, clarity, and a stronger sense of who you are as an actor. You will be fully pilot season ready.
Taught by industry coach Will Doughty, this class prepares adult actors for the unique demands of pilot season. Will guides students through on camera performance, self tapes, and call back work so they can walk into pilot auditions with confidence and clarity.
